Her statement surfaced shortly after the party postponed its scheduled public gathering in Islamabad

Islamabad: Aleema Khan has voiced her distrust in the current leadership of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), accusing them of having no genuine intention to secure the former prime minister's release from jail.
Her statement surfaced shortly after the party postponed its scheduled public gathering in Islamabad, rescheduling it for September 8, following the local administration's revocation of the no-objection certificate (NOC) and the sealing of roads leading to the capital.
PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Khan confirmed that the rally, initially set for today, will now take place on September 8, as per Imran Khan's instructions.
An audio clip, allegedly featuring Aleema Khan's voice, has been circulating on social media, where she expressed disappointment over the rally's postponement. In the clip, she questioned why senior PTI leader Azam Swati visited Imran Khan early in the morning and who directed him to do so. "Who instructed him [Swati] to meet Khan at 7 a.m. and relay the message about the rally’s postponement?"
Aleema further criticized the current PTI leadership for consulting Imran Khan, who is currently imprisoned at Rawalpindi's Adiala Jail, accusing them of lacking the courage to make their own decisions.
She claimed that the present leadership is using Imran Khan's name while making decisions independently and has no sincere intention of securing his release.
Her comments mark the latest in a series of sharp criticisms aimed at the current PTI leadership.
