The court also directed to schedule application related to the internet shutdown and installation of firewall for a hearing today

Lahore: The Lahore High Court (LHC) directed to fix the application related to internet shutdown and installation of the firewall for hearing today (Friday).
Justice Chaudhry Muhammad Iqbal of LHC protected himself from the hearing on the application against the shutdown of internet and installation of firewall across the country.
The court said that similar cases are being heard by Justice Shakeel Ahmed after which the petition was ordered to be transferred to the court of Justice Shakeel.
The LHC also directed to schedule the application related to the internet shutdown and installation of the firewall for a hearing today.
The petitioner has taken the stand that the internet and social media apps have been shut down without notice and reason. The orders should be issued to restore the internet completely and immediately in the country.
