Shaukat Khanum Hospital team conducts thorough check-up of PTI founder on jail premises

Rawalpindi: A medical team from Shaukat Khanum Hospital conducted a thorough check-up of Imran Khan, the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), on Saturday.
According to sources, the examination was led by Dr. Asim, who evaluated the health of the former prime minister, currently incarcerated.
This medical check-up was arranged following a request made by Imran Khan’s legal team, who had urged the authorities to carry out a detailed examination. Jail officials confirmed that the court had instructed them to organize the check-up and submit a report once the process was completed.
Imran Khan has reportedly been suffering from tinnitus, a medical condition where the patient hears ringing or other noises in the ears.
In an earlier check-up, a government-appointed doctor had examined Imran Khan and prescribed medication for his condition. However, his personal physician advised him against taking the prescribed treatment.
