Traffic police releases a plan for central procession of Chehlum of the martyrs of Karbala in Karachi

Karachi: The Traffic Police on Saturday released a plan for the central procession of Chehlum of the martyrs of Karbala in Karachi.
The central procession would commence from Nishtar Park and, following its designated routes, would conclude at the Husaini Irani Imam Bargah.
According to the Traffic Police, M.A. Jinnah Road from Guru Mandir to Tower will remain closed.
The Traffic Police stated that passengers coming from Nazimabad can proceed to their destination via Nishtar Road from Lasbela Chowk. Travelers arriving from Liaquatabad can use the route from Teen Hatti to Lasbela Chowk and Central Jail.
The passengers traveling from Hassan Square to Peoples Chowrangi could take Kashmir Road to Shahrah-e-Quaidin and then the Jail Flyover to Teen Hatti and Nishtar Road. Those heading to Exhibition from Shahrah-e-Faisal can use Kashmir Road to reach their destination.
Travelers going towards Central Jail Gate on Jamshed Road, Guru Mandir, and M.A. Jinnah Road can use the route from Guru Mandir to Bahadur Yar Jung Road, Soldier Bazaar to reach their destination.
The individuals traveling from Garden Zoo to M.A. Jinnah Road can take the route from Uncle Saria to Gul Plaza and Holy Family Hospital to reach their destination.
All heavy traffic will be diverted from Liaquatabad No. 10 towards Nazimabad Chowrangi No. 2. It would be allowed to travel via Habib Bank Flyover, State Avenue Road, and from Sher Shah to Mangi Pura.
Heavy traffic would be permitted on Shahrah-e-Faisal or Rashid Minhas Road, Stadium Road, Habib Bank Bridge, and from Sher Shah to Mangi Pura.
No small or large traffic would be allowed beyond Guru Mandir Chowk on the procession route; it would be redirected towards Bahadur Yar Jung Road, Soldier Bazaar.
Entry of all types of vehicles on M.A. Jinnah Road would be prohibited, except for those with special permits and stickers indicating participation in the procession.
The vehicles with stickers for procession participation would be allowed entry from Shahrah-e-Quaidin and Society Light Signal.
Parking any vehicle on the procession route would not be permitted.
