Police rescue abducted constable in Kacha area operation
DPO Rizwan Gondal says the police presence remains strong in the Kacha area
Rahim Yar Khan: Police successfully rescued Constable Ahmed Nawaz, who had been abducted by dacoits during an operation in the Kacha area.
According to the police spokesperson, dacoits attacked the Machka area on Thursday evening and abducted Constable Ahmed Nawaz.
The abductors later released a video of the police officer in which the kidnapped officer urged the Punjab IG and Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz to fulfill the dacoits' demands, or else he would be killed.
After the rescue, DPO Rizwan Gondal stated that the police presence remains strong in the Kacha area.
It is noteworthy that on Thursday evening, 12 police officers were martyred and 8 others were injured in an attack by the dacoits in Machka, while one officer went missing.
