Islamabad: Earthquake tremors were felt in various cities including Islamabad, Peshawar, and Lahore.
Earthquake tremors were felt in central and northern regions of Pakistan. The earthquake hit the major cities including Islamabad, Lahore, Multan, and Sargodha. Apart from this, earthquake tremors were also felt in Chakwal and surrounding areas.
The earthquake tremors were also felt in various cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, inclusing Peshawar, Swat, North Waziristan, Hangu, Mardan, Malakand, Buner, Shangla, and Dir.
Apart from this, people also felt the shocks of the earthquake in Mansehra, Bitgram, Torghar, and Kohistan.
According to the seismological center, the magnitude of the earthquake was recorded at 5.4. The epicenter of the earthquake was Mount Hindu Kush, Afghanistan, whose underground depth was recorded at 215 kilometers.
After the earthquake, people came out of offices and houses in different cities and started reciting Holy verses. However, no loss of life or property has been reported as yet.
