Athlete won gold medal in Paris Olympics 2024

Islamabad: President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari on Thursday awarded javelin superstar Arshad Nadeem Hilal-e-Imtiaz for winning a gold medal in the Paris Olympics 2024.
The event took place at the Aiwan-e-Sadar where national hero Arshad Nadeem was awarded one of the highest civilian awards.
Mr Nadeem has recently brought honour to the country by not only winning the gold medal after 40 years, but also setting the Olympics record of the highest throw of 92.97m in the javelin category.
Earlier, the athlete was honoured with cash prizes by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff Asim Munir in different ceremonies.
