The Punjab Finance Department is set to revise the proposal for final approval

Lahore: The Punjab government has decided to provide a special allowance to policemen stationed in the Katcha areas of the province.
The Punjab Finance Department is set to revise the proposal for final approval.
Inspector General (IG) Punjab, Usman Anwar, has submitted a summary requesting a Hard Area Allowance for 1,357 personnel deployed in Rahim Yar Khan and Rajanpur.
The allowance will be extended to inspectors, sub-inspectors, assistant sub-inspectors, and constables serving in these challenging regions. This initiative is expected to cost around Rs330 million.
