Rawalpindi: The management of Adiala Jail has denied the reports that facilities provided to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan in the jail have been withdrawn.
Superintendent Adiala Jail while talking to the media said that Imran Khan has all the facilities available according to the jail manual, His security and health are taken special care of in the jail. PTI founder is provided an English newspaper daily and he also has books available to read. Exercise machines and space for a walk are also there.
Superintendent Jail stated that a separate kitchen has been given to the former Prime Minister and his wife Bushra Bibi for food. The staff is always present for his security.
He added that there is no reality in the news about an open sewer in the cell of the founder PTI. There is also no truth in the news about the presence of mice in Bushra Bibi's cell.
Jail authorities further said that Imran is allowed to have family, lawyers, and political meetings twice a week. He also meets on the occasion of hearing in jail. A television facility is also available to him.
