Cabinet Division informed the National Assembly in writing about the installation of WMS
Lahore: The government formally approved installation of a Web Monitoring System (WMS) to manage content on the Internet.
Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) became autonomous in content blocking as 2,369 URLs and 183 applications have been blocked.
The Cabinet Division informed the National Assembly in writing about the installation of WMS.
According to the Cabinet Division's post, the blocking of websites promoting illegal content and applications that make public the personal data of citizens has started.
PTA advice to overcome internet slowdown
