Delegation appreciated Prime Minister for bringing the inflation rate down


Islamabad: A delegation of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) headed by Convenor Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui on Wednesday called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif here in Islamabad.
The delegation included National Assembly members Dr. Muhammad Farooq Sattar, Mustafa Kamal, and Syed Aminul Haq.
The delegation appreciated Prime Minister for bringing the inflation rate down to single digits due to his economic policies. They also appreciated the Prime Minister’s business-friendly policies and his efforts to develop the export industry.
The delegation presented suggestions to the Prime Minister for economic development and for the prosperity of the people, particularly in the economic hub of Karachi.
"Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan is a highly important coalition partner of the government," said the Prime Minister.
The Prime Minister emphasized that with the support of coalition parties, the country's development work is progressing rapidly.
"Karachi is the most important city in the country and serves as the backbone of the national economy," the Prime Minister added.
He affirmed that solving Karachi's issues is the government's top priority.
The meeting also discussed issues related to Sindh, especially Karachi and other urban areas.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Federal Minister for Law and Justice Azam Nazeer Tarar, and Adviser to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs and Inter-Provincial Coordination Rana Sanaullah were also present during the meeting.
