Court stated that according to JIT report, MD PASCO is innocent


Lahore: The court acquitted Managing Director (MD) Pakistan Agricultural Storage & Services Corporation (PASCO) Saeed Ahmad Nawaz from the case of taking financial advantage in the purchase of wheat.
Judicial Magistrate Imran Abid acquitted MD PASCO from the case at the request of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA). The court also issued a detailed verdict in the case.
The court said in the written judgment that the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) report was submitted to the FIA court, according to which MD PASCO is innocent.
The written judgment further stated that Saeed Ahmed was kept in FIA custody on physical remand for five days. He was accused of taking financial advantage in the purchase of wheat.
