Notification issued by Cabinet Division stated that on the occasion of Eid Milad-ul-Nabi, there will be a public holiday
Islamabad: The government of Pakistan has announced a public holiday on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad Mustafa (peace be upon him) on 12th Rabi'ul-Awwal.
In the notification issued by the Cabinet Division, it was stated that on the occasion of Eid Milad-ul-Nabi (12 Rabi Al-Awwal 1446 Hijri) there will be a public holiday across the country on September 17, 2024.
It is pertinent to note that two days ago, a meeting of the Central Viewing Hilal Committee was held in Islamabad under the chairmanship of Chairman Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad to see the moon of Rabi-ul- Awwal.
The meeting was attended by the representatives of Ruet-e-Hilal Zonal Committee Islamabad, SUPARCO, Department of Meteorology and Ministry of Science and Technology.
