Mumbai: Bollywood model and actress Malaika Arora's father Anil Arora committed suicide by jumping from the roof of the building.
According to Indian media, the police said that Anil Arora committed suicide by jumping from the roof of a building in Bandra, Mumbai.
According to media reports, after the accident, the police reached the spot and took the body into custody, but they could not ascertain the actual reason for the suicide.
It is being told that when Anil Arora committed suicide, Malaika was not present at her father's house. On the other hand, Malaika Arora's ex-husband Arbaaz Khan was the first to reach Malaika's residence after hearing the news of Anil’s death.
Anil Arora is survived by his daughters, actress Malaika Arora, Amrita Arora and wife Joyce Polycarp.
It is pertinent to note that Malaika's parents separated when she was 11 years old and her sister actress Amrita Rao was six years old, both were raised by their mother Joyce Polycarp.
