Rizwan has moved up from 10th to 9th place and Babar Azam has moved up from 12th to 11th place


Dubai: Pakistani batsmen Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan have been promoted by one rank in the Test players ranking released by the International Cricket Council (ICC).
ICC has released the ranking of test players, in which England's Joe Root remains in the first place and England's Harry Brooke has reached the 12th place after seven places.
After the series against Sri Lanka, the ranking of England's batsmen has improved.
According to the ranking, Pakistan's Mohammad Rizwan has moved up from 10th to 9th place and Babar Azam has moved up from 12th to 11th place.
In the ranking, Sri Lanka’s Commando Mendes has moved up six places to 19th position.
India's Ravichandran Ashwin is the first in the Test bowlers' ranking and Pakistan's Shaheen Shah Afridi has moved up to the top 10 in the bowlers' rankings.
