Green Shirts had thumped China 5-1 to reach the semifinal spot

Beijing: Pakistan on Thursday beat host China to book place in semi-finals of the Asian Hockey Champions Trophy 2024.
According to details, Pakistan had achieved this milestone by thumping China in the fourth match of the event. The Green Shirts had thumped China 5-1 to reach the semifinal spot. Abdul Hanan Shahid, Ahmed Naeem had bagged two goals each. Abdul Rehman netted one goal.
So far, Pakistan has remained unbeaten in the four matches they have played so far in the tournament.
The Men in Green had also defeated Japan, but they managed to draw against South Korea and Malaysia.
Pakistan will lock horns against India in the final match of the group stage on September 14.
