Audio leak case: Gandapur's exemption from attendance plea approved
Court adjourned the hearing of the case till September 21
Islamabad: The District and Sessions Courts of Islamabad accepted the exemption from the attendance plea of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur in the audio leak case.
Additional and Sessions Judge Abdul Ghafoor Kakar heard the audio leak case against Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in District and Sessions Courts Islamabad.
During the hearing, Gandapur's lawyer Raja Zahoor-ul-Hassan Advocate appeared in the court and filed a request for exemption from the attendance.
The court adjourned the hearing of the case till September 21 while accepting the request for exemption from attendance.
It is pertinent to note that the alleged audio of Ali Amin Gandapur with a person regarding Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) long march in 2022 was leaked in which Gandapur was asking about the number of guns, on which the other person said ‘a lot’.
A case was registered against Ali Amin Gandapur in Golra police station regarding the audio leak.
