Federal cabinet to meet tomorrow to review the constitutional amendment
Meeting is convened to get approval for the proposed amendment
Islamabad: A special meeting of the federal cabinet has been scheduled for Sunday, with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif set to preside.
The primary agenda of the meeting is to approve the draft of a proposed constitutional amendment.
According to the media reports, the meeting will take place at the Parliament House, under the leadership of Prime Minister Sharif.
Once the cabinet grants its approval, the Constitutional Amendment Bill will be presented in both houses of Parliament for further consideration.
Meanwhile, National Assembly session has been scheduled for Sunday at 11:30 AM, while the Senate will convene at 4:00 PM on the same day to deliberate on the proposed changes.
