Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League-Q President and Speaker Punjab Chaudhry Parvaiz Elahi called on Pakistan People' Party Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari at the Lahore's Bilawal House on Tuesday and discussed political scenario and the incumbant government.

The both also discussed political situation in Punjab, sources said and added that the meeting lasted for an hour.
Mr Elahi thanked Mr Zardari for extending cooperation in the Senate elections.
The PML-Q stalwart said he wanted to see Asif Zardari in Karachi to offer thanks for Senate favour. The PPP leader, however, promised to meet with the PML-Q leader in Lahore.
During the meeting, Mr Elahi inquired after the health of Mr Zardari who also inquired after the health of Chaudhry Shujaat Hussian.
Accoridng to an official release of the meeting, Mr Zardari asked Mr Elahi about the health of his brother Chaudhry Shujat Hussain in the meeting. He told Elahi that his son had informed him about Shujat’s health.
The press release further said that Elahi communicated to Zardari that Shujat’s health was improving.
