Islamabad: Pakistan’s registered death toll from coronavirus infections rose towards 22,000, but some data suggested the spread of the disease has been contained.

According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), around 930 cases of coronavirus were reported while 39 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 22,073.
The total number of confirmed cases reached to 950,768.
As many as 895,690 patients have recovered from the disease with 2,173 critical cases.
Punjab
The number of patients swelled to 345,251in the province with 10,672 causalities.
Sindh
The number of infections has surged to 333,194 in the province, while the death toll has reached 5,358.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The confirmed cases have surged to 137,247 in the province with 4,280casualties.
Balochistan
There are 26,776 confirmed cases while 303 patients have died from the infection so far.
AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan
There are 20,019 coronavirus cases in the AJK while the death toll has reached 574. On the other hand, there are 5,850 cases in GB with 111 coronavirus deaths.
Islamabad
There are 82,431 cases in the capital city while 775 people have lost their lives.
