Deputy PM Russia in Islamabad for two-day visit

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Alexei Overchuk arrived in Islamabad on a two-day visit on Wednesday.

A high-level delegation of Russia headed by the Deputy Prime Minister arrived in Pakistan, who was welcomed by the officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the airport.

According to media reports, meetings with President Asif Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and other high officials are scheduled during the visit of the Russian Deputy Prime Minister.

It is also reported that trade and economic cooperation between Pakistan and Russia will be discussed during the visit.
