Lebanon attacks alarming, Pakistan condemns all forms of terrorism
Pakistan fully supports the independence and security of Lebanon.
Islamabad: Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch Thursday said that cyber-attacks in Lebanon are alarming, Pakistan condemns all forms of terrorism.
While addressing a weekly briefing in Islamabad, the Foreign Office Spokesperson stated that yesterday the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia met Ishaq Dar and they discussed the promotion of cooperation on multilateral forums. In the meeting, discussions were also held on education, culture, and other fields, other agreements like Belarus were signed between the two countries.
Talking about the explosions in Lebanon, the spokesman said that Pakistan has strongly condemned the recent attacks in Lebanon while Pakistan fully supports the independence and security of Lebanon.
She added that Israeli aggression has been continuing in Gaza since October last year. Israel's actions are a threat to regional peace and it should be held accountable for violations of international laws.
Talking about Occupied Kashmir, the spokesperson of the Foreign Office stated that the so-called elections in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir are unacceptable. Pakistan wants a solution to the Kashmir issue per the UN resolutions and the aspirations of the Kashmiris. Pakistan will continue to provide moral, diplomatic and political support to Kashmiris.
She continued that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will participate in the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. There should be a ceasefire in Gaza according to the UN laws. Pakistan strongly condemns the humanitarian atrocities in Gaza.
