On the other hand, the singer's mother and sister have accused the daughter of being poisoned by a rival singer from western Orissa, but no one has been named by the family.
Singer Ruksana's sister Ruby Bano said that 15 days ago, her sister's condition worsened after drinking juice during the shooting, after which she was shifted to the hospital.
According to Indian media, the family of the deceased singer also said that the singer was threatened before.
