Woman, son commit suicide; Blames neighbours for harassment in note
Mumbai: A 44-year old Indian woman along with her 10-year old son has allegedly jumped from the 12th-floor of her apartment.
The deceased, Reshma Trenchil left a note accusing her neighbours for harassing her by complaining about her son making noise.
According to police, a case has been registered and a 33-year-old man, reportedly one of the neighbours from the flat below, has been taken into custody.
As per police, the neighbours about whom the woman has mentioned in her suicide note live at the 11th floor of the flat.
She has named her neighbours Ayub Khan, Shehnaz Khan and Shaadab Khan in her suicide note, said police.
The woman had recently lost her husband to Covid and lived with son alone in their flat at the apartment building in Chandiwali.
They had moved into the building in April and reportedly had problems with their neighbours who constantly complained about the child causing the noise.
