Karachi: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has decided to add four modern fuel-efficient aircraft to its fleet.

According to details, PIA will get narrow-body planes on a six-year dry lease.
The first aircraft, an Airbus-320, will be added to national carrier’s fleet in mid-July while the second plane will become part of the airline in August. The remaining two aircrafts will be added to PIA’s fleet by October and September.
The new planes have been acquired in accordance with PIA’s business needs.
The airline’s business plan envisages addition of more than eight aircraft to the airline’s fleet, it added.
PIA will also induct more Boeing-777 aircraft to its fleet in future.
