PTI submits request to hold rally at Minar-e-Pakistan
The event is planned to commemorate the birth anniversary of Imran Khan
Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has submitted a new request to the Deputy Commissioner of Lahore, seeking permission to hold a public gathering at Minar-e-Pakistan on October 5th.
The event is planned to commemorate the birth anniversary of PTI’s founder Imran Khan, and the party has requested the rally be held from 5 pm to 10 pm.
According to the application, PTI has assured that all participants will strictly adhere to legal protocols and follow all necessary regulations during the gathering.
The request was submitted by PTI Senior Vice President of Punjab, Akmal Khan Bari, who emphasized the importance of the event in celebrating the birthday of the party's founder.
The party is seeking permission to host the rally in Minar-e-Pakistan, a historically significant site, and is hopeful that the authorities will grant approval for the peaceful celebration.
