According to foreign media, a 21-day ceasefire has been proposed by the US and France to stop the war between Lebanon and Israel. A decision on the ceasefire proposal by Israel and Lebanon is likely to be made today.
According to the foreign news agency, the European Union, Australia, Canada, Italy, Germany, Japan, Saudi Arabia, UAE and Qatar have also supported the joint ceasefire proposal presented by France and the United States.
According to the French news agency (AFP), a US official said on condition of anonymity that Lebanon and Israel are expected to decide within the next few hours whether to accept the ceasefire proposal.
