Armed men have also burnt machinery of 10 coal mines


Dukki: 20 miners were killed and seven were injured in the attacks of armed men on local coal mines in Dukki region of Balochistan.
According to the police, unidentified armed men attacked the coal mines of Dhaka District Chairman Haji Khairullah with a rocket-propelled grenade. They opened fire on the miners there, killing 20 miners and injuring seven.
Police stated that the miners who died in the attacks belonged to Pishin, Qila Saifullah, Zhob, Muslim Bagh, Musa Khel, Kuchlak and Afghanistan.
According to the Medical Officer of Dukki Hospital, Dr Johar Saduzai, those injured in the attack by the armed men have been shifted to Teaching Hospital Loralai after receiving medical aid at Dukki Hospital.
The owner of the coal mine, Haji Khairullah, said that the armed men have also burnt the machinery of 10 coal mines.
After receiving information about the incident, police and FC reached the spot and started a search operation.
