Bilawal meets Maulana to speed up consultation for consent on amendments
Bilawal Bhutto also met BNP chief Akhtar Mengal at Maulana's residence
Islamabad: The process of consultation to build a consensus on the 26th constitutional amendment has been accelerated.
Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari reached Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman's residence to meet him, while earlier a delegation of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) had also reached to meet Maulana.
Bilawal Bhutto also met Balochistan National Party (BNP-Mengal) chief Akhtar Mengal at Maulana's residence.
Before arriving at Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman's residence, the PPP delegation led by Bilawal Bhutto met Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at the PM House in which the current political situation was discussed and consulted.
It is pertinent to note that the meeting of the federal cabinet has been called today for the approval of the constitutional amendment, the time of which has been changed twice.
Last day too, Bilawal Bhutto and Maulana had a meeting in which a broad consensus could not be reached on the constitutional amendments.
