Guests and recording videos in the press gallery is also prohibited


Islamabad: Strict security measures were taken for today’s National Assembly session regarding constitutional amendments.
According to the National Assembly spokesperson, strict security arrangements have been made for today's session, and guests are banned from attending the assembly.
The spokesperson said that only media representatives with valid press gallery cards will be allowed entry into the Parliament, but one-day press gallery cards will not be issued.
Furthermore, as per the ruling of the Speaker of the National Assembly, recording videos in the press gallery is also prohibited.
The Speaker's ruling instructed parliamentary reporters to refrain from recording videos from the press gallery. If anyone does so, their mobile phone will be confiscated.
Officials added that security personnel will also be present in the press gallery during the session.
