BNP Mengal defector Senator Ronjho resigns from membership
Qasim Ronjho submitted his resignation to the Senate Secretariat
Islamabad: Balochistan National Party-Mengal (BNP) defector Senator Qasim Ronjho has resigned from the Senate.
According to the details, BNP-Mengal defector Qasim Ronjho has submitted his resignation to the Senate Secretariat. Qasim deviated from the party policy and voted in favor of the 26th constitutional amendment.
It is also stated that BNP’s chief had demanded the resignation of the two members who had voted. Along with Qasim, Naseema Ehsan had also voted in favor of the 26th constitutional amendment. Akhtar Mengal had asked the two members to resign on the evening of the approval of the amendment.
