Bushra Bibi released from Adiala Jail
Bushra Bibi has been released from Gate No. 5 of Adiala Jail.
Islamabad: The Accountability Court of Islamabad issued a warrant for the release of former First Lady Bushra Bibi after being granted bail by the Islamabad High Court (IHC) in the Toshakhana II case, therefore, she was released from Adiala Jail.
According to the details, Bushra Bibi has been released from Gate No. 5 of Adiala Jail and shifted to Bani Gala.
It is pertinent to note that yesterday the IHC approved the bail application of Bushra Bibi in the new Toshakhana case, but due to the non-availability of Senior Special Judge Central Shahrukh Arjumand and the leave of Special Judge Central No.2 Humayun Dilawar, the release procedure of Bushra Bibi could not be issued.
PTI lawyers continued to go around the courts to submit their petitions, during which the court time was over. When Bushra Bibi's lawyers reached the court of Administrative Judge Jawad Abbas, he had also left.
However, now the bail bonds were submitted in the court of Special Judge Central Shahrukh Arjumand, after which Bushra Bibi was released.

Malik Tariq Mehmood Noon submitted the bail bond of Bushra Bibi.
It should be noted that Bushra Bibi has been in jail for nine months. She was sentenced to 14 years in prison on January 31, 2024 in the Tosha Khana case. After the decision of the punishment, Bushra herself came to the jail for arrest.
Bushra Bibi was transferred to Bani Gala instead of Adiala Jail and Commissioner Islamabad declared Bani Gala as a sub-jail, however the IHC suspended Bushra Bibi's sentence in the Toshakhana case.
FIA had re-arrested her in the Tosha Khana II case, against which Bushra Bibi had filed an appeal.
