Islamabad: Pakistan is presently experiencing the third wave of coronavirus which is said to be deadlier and more contagious than previous two waves.

According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), around 901 cases of coronavirus were reported while 23 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 22,211.
The total number of cases has reached 954,743.
As many as 900,291 patients have recovered from the disease with 1,941 critical cases.
Punjab
The number of patients swelled to 345,796 in the province with 10,721 causalities.
Sindh
The number of infections has surged to 335,555 in the province, while the death toll has reached 5,410.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The confirmed cases have surged to 137,628 in the province with 4,304 casualties.
Balochistan
There are 27,003 confirmed cases while 307 patients have died from the infection so far.
AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan
There are 20,212 coronavirus cases in the AJK while the death toll has reached 582. On the other hand, there are 5,984 cases in GB with 111 coronavirus deaths.
Islamabad
There are 82,565 cases in the capital city while 776 people have lost their lives.
