Govt decided to invite applications from Lahore Press Club and other Lahore journalists


Lahore: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz's initiative for the journalist community, it has been decided to provide plots to 3,200 journalists.
Provincial Information Minister Azma Bokhari had a meeting with Maryam Nawaz, in which the Chief Minister ordered the Ministry of Information to take immediate steps for Journalist Colony Lahore Phase II.
The Chief Minister of Punjab directed the journalists to fulfill all the legal requirements and complete the work of Journalist Housing Scheme Phase II as soon as possible for the delivery of the plots.
In the meeting, Chief Minister Maryam said that journalists and the government are two wheels of a vehicle. They are not doing a favor to journalists by giving plots, it is their right. All journalists will be given plots after fulfilling the merit and legal requirements.
The Punjab Ministry of Information has decided to invite applications from Lahore Press Club and other Lahore journalists and in this regard, a formal advertisement will be issued in two to three days.
