After three months, Pakistan reports lowest COVID-19 death toll in single day
Islamabad: The death toll from coronavirus in Pakistan has been steadily declining, with only 20 deaths reported in the last 24 hours, the lowest number of deaths per day from the virus in three months.

According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), around 914 cases of coronavirus were reported while 20 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 22,231.
The total number of cases has reached 955,657.
As many as 901,201 patients have recovered from the disease with 1,961 critical cases.
Punjab
The number of patients swelled to 345,900 in the province with 10,729 causalities.
Sindh
The number of infections has surged to 336,076 in the province, while the death toll has reached 5,418.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The confirmed cases have surged to 137,759 in the province with 4,308 casualties.
Balochistan
There are 27,064 confirmed cases while 307 patients have died from the infection so far.
AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan
There are 20,243 coronavirus cases in the AJK while the death toll has reached 582. On the other hand, there are 6,019 cases in GB with 111 coronavirus deaths.
Islamabad
There are 82,596 cases in the capital city while 776 people have lost their lives.
