COVID-19: Pakistan reports 735 new cases, 23 deaths in one day
Islamabad: The death toll from coronavirus in Pakistan has been steadily declining, with only 23 deaths reported in the last 24 hours.
According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), around 735 cases of coronavirus were reported while 23 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 22,254.
The total number of cases has reached 956,392.
As many as 901,985 patients have recovered from the disease with 1,946 critical cases.
Punjab
The number of patients swelled to 346,036 in the province with 10,740 causalities.
Sindh
The number of infections has surged to 336,507 in the province, while the death toll has reached 5,427.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The confirmed cases have surged to 137,831 in the province with 4,311 casualties.
Balochistan
There are 27,083 confirmed cases while 307 patients have died from the infection so far.
AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan
There are 20,256 coronavirus cases in the AJK while the death toll has reached 582. On the other hand, there are 6,060 cases in GB with 111 coronavirus deaths.
Islamabad
There are 82,619 cases in the capital city while 776 people have lost their lives.
