Ex PM stresses on amicable relations with all the neighbouring countries

London: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif has said that Indian should send its cricket team to participate in the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025.
Talking to media in London, former PM stressed on amicable relations with all the neighbouring countries.
His remarks came after India officially informed the International Cricket Council (ICC) that its team will not travel to Pakistan to participate in tournament, which is scheduled to be played at three venues in Pakistan from February to March 9.
The BCCI told ICC that the Indian government had advised it against sending the team to Pakistan, ESPNcricinfo reported a day after Indian media reported the same decision.
On the other hand, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to give the reply in same tone.
The government has suggested PCB to invite some other country if India refused to come for the Champions Trophy.
Sources said that the PCB would involve ICC requesting the governing body to ask India to give concrete reasons for the refusal of the Board of Cricket in India (BCCI) to play in Pakistan.
Nawaz Sharif further said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is taking good steps for the recovery of the national economy, adding that inflation in Pakistan is continuously decreasing.
He lamented that a political party had introduced the culture of misbehavior, adding that protests should also be held in a proper manner. They have incited the youth to a level that they run after cars and shout vulgar slogans, he stated this while slamming the recent incident encountered by former chief justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa.
