Famous Korean actor commits suicide

Seoul: South Korean actor and model Song Jae Rim has been found dead in his home.

According to Korean media, the news of the death of actor and model Song Jae Rim left his fans and the Korean showbiz industry in deep shock.

His body was found in his apartment on Tuesday, November 12. According to authorities, a two-page farewell letter (society note) was also recovered from Song Jae Rim's home.

Following the news of his death, fans are expressing deep grief and sorrow on social media.

Police station officials have confirmed that no evidence of anyone's involvement or criminal activity was found in the death of 39-year-old Song Jae Rim.

It is pertinent to note that Song Jae Rim began his acting career in 2009 and got popular with the role of a bodyguard in historical dramas such as ‘Moon Embracing the Sun’ (2012) and a ruthless killer in ‘Two Weeks’ (2013).

He appeared with Kim So-eun in the fourth season of the popular reality show ‘We Got Married’, which brought him to the heights of popularity and he also received the award for Best Couple at the MBC Entertainment Awards in 2017.

Song Jae Rim's popular dramas include Secret Garden, Cool Guys, Hot Ramen, Inspiring Generation, and I Wanna Hear Your Song.
