Karachi: The last supermoon of this year will be seen in Pakistan on Friday night.
Astronomer Dr Javed Iqbal said that the supermoon will be visible at its peak at 2:28am Pakistan time. During the supermoon, the moon appears 14 percent larger and 30 percent brighter than usual.
Why Supermoon Appears?
In this regard, Dr Javed Iqbal said that a supermoon appears when the moon comes closest to the Earth in its orbit.
During a supermoon, the distance between the Earth and the Moon decreases.
