CDWP approves three energy sector projects
These projects are of worth 9,014.360 million rupees
Islamabad: The Central Development Working Party has approved three energy sector projects worth 58.857 billion rupees.
The CDWP, which met in Islamabad on Friday with Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal in the chair, approved three projects worth 9,014.360 million rupees, 27,613 million rupees and 22,229.810 million rupees respectively for Sukkur Electric Supply Company, Lahore Electric Supply Company, and Multan Electric Power Company, to improve electric supply and operational efficiencies of these distribution companies.
The forum recommended the projects to the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council for final approval.
