In view of the batting problems of the Pakistan cricket team in Australia, a permanent batting coach is being appointed and, in this regard, the PCB has appointed Shahid Aslam as the new batting coach, which has been confirmed by the board.
A PCB spokesperson said that Shahid Aslam is going to Zimbabwe and South Africa as a batting coach.
According to the spokesperson, a spin bowling coach is being sought for the Pakistan team, who will be appointed soon.
According to the media reports, Shahid Aslam has been appointed as the coach on the recommendation of Aqib Javed. He was part of the team’s support staff for many years in the past. He is famous for getting the batters to practice and is famous for throwing throw-downs for hours.
