Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) Sameer Ahmed Syed as the Tournament Director for the International Cricket Council (ICC) Champions Trophy 2025 scheduled to be held in Pakistan.
A statement issued by the board said that Sameer Ahmed is an exceptionally organized professional who has administrative skills as well as an unwavering passion for cricket and we are confident that he will make it possible to organize an unforgettable ICC Champions Trophy for the players, officials and fans.
On this occasion, the Tournament Director Sameer Ahmed Syed said: “I consider it an honor to take on the important responsibility for this tournament that the PCB Board has assigned me. The upgradation of the stadium is nearing completion and important discussions are underway with the ICC”.
He stated that our experienced team successfully implemented several important events including the planning of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
