Lahore: Former Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Yastur-ul-Haq Malik passed away in Lahore.
Admiral Yastur-ul-Haq Malik was commissioned in the Pakistan Navy in 1954 and also participated in the 1965 and 1971 Indo-Pak wars.
Admiral Yastur-ul-Haq Malik was the Chief of the Naval Staff from 1988 to 1991.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari expressed their condolences on the death of former Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Yastur-ul-Haq.
The Prime Minister said that Admiral Yastur-ul-Haq’s services for the defense and security of the country are unforgettable.
