Report stated that the PTI leadership incited the public on May 9
Lahore: The Joint Investigation Team (JIT) has declared the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leadership guilty in various cases of May 9.
Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Lahore Judge Arshad Javed heard various cases of May 9 and the JIT completed the investigation in various cases of the May 9 tragedy and submitted the report to the court.
The report stated that the PTI leadership incited the public on May 9, and other accused including Asad Umar, Azam Swati, and Hafiz Farhat Abbas are guilty.
During the hearing, the judge, while talking to the accused’s lawyers, said that earlier you were saying to complete the investigation, now it is over, so let’s discuss, you should tell the date.
Later, the court summoned the accused’s lawyers on January 14 for the next hearing for arguments in various cases of May 9.
