Shehbaz Sharif lauds PCB for taking 'principled stand'


Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has appreciated the principled stance of Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board Mohsin Naqvi regarding the Champions Trophy.
Talking to Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board Mohsin Naqvi in Lahore today, he expressed full confidence in Mohsin Naqvi saying Pakistan's prestige comes first above everything.
He said the stance of the Chairman PCB regarding the Champions trophy Tournament is the voice of every Pakistani and Mohsin Naqvi has represented 240 million Pakistanis at the International Cricket Council.
During the meeting, Mohsin Naqvi apprised the Prime Minister regarding the progress of the ICC Champions Trophy Tournament.
The meeting highlighted Pakistan's determination to host the tournament successfully, showcasing the country's potential on the global cricketing platform.
