Court granted bail on a bond of Rs10,000 and ordered release

Islamabad: The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Islamabad granted bail to three minors arrested from D-Chowk and ordered their release.
Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain of the ATC heard the bail application of three minors arrested from D-Chowk.
The lawyer of the petitioner, 14-year-old Siam, took the stand that the child came to Islamabad with his mother from Afghanistan on October 21 for treatment. He was picked up from home in Shahzad Town and a case was filed at the Secretariat police station. The child will return to Afghanistan.
The court expressed its anger over the police not presenting the record and inquired as to when the record would be available. Other applications have also been filed.
The prosecutor told the court that the police would reach the court within 1.5 hours with the record. The court granted bail to the 14-year-old child on a bond of Rs10,000 and ordered his release.
The bail applications of two more minors arrested from D Chowk were also approved. The children's lawyer took the stand that the accused Samundar Khan is 16 and Shahzad Khan is 17 years old. The police picked up both the children from their homes and filed a case at the Secretariat Police Station. The court granted bail on bonds of Rs10,000 each and ordered their release.
