Earlier, in National Assebly session, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari termed Foreign Minister as biggest threat for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI).
While addressing the National Assembly session, Bilawal Bhutto engaged in a heated exchange of words with Shah Mehmood and said that he has seen him chanting ‘Jiye Bhutto’ slogans since childhood. “Seems like Shah Mehmood doesn’t want Prime Minsiter Imran Khan to address the session. Khan Sahab [Imran Khan] will never understand what kind of a person he is.
I would ask PM to get his phone tapped by asking security agencies,” he said. Without naming Shah Mehmood and addressing government lawmakers he added, “The extent to which we know him, even you don’t know.”
The PPP chairperson further stated that his party members would have listened to the speeches of government parliamentary members had PTI lawmakers followed the parliamentary decorum.
“Do not discuss the matter of Sindh Assembly here,” he said. Responding to Bilawal, Shah Mehmood said that he has known the ‘kid’ and his father for a very long time now.
“I know you kid and your father for a long time now. The kid needs more time and training. I will not add more troubles to his life by responding to him,” he said.
Prior to Bilawal’s speech, Shah Mehmood Qureshi lashed out at Bilawal Bhutto and said that PPP should not talk about parliamentary decorum after refusing to let opposition members talk in Sindh Assembly.
“We have given opposition members more time to speak than fixed duration. On what basis is opposition rejecting this budget? It is parliamentary decorum to concede to majority’s opinion,” FM said.
