PRA office operational in Murree following CM Punjab orders
With establishment of offices in other districts, revenue will rise significantly
Lahore: In view of the decision to expand the scope of the Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) to 12 more districts of Punjab, a notification has been issued to activate the PRA office in Murree following the instructions of the Chief Minister of Punjab.
The PRA spokesperson said that offices in Bahawalpur, Sheikhupura, and Kasur were also made operational a few months ago. Additional Commissioner Madam Mirzia Saleem has been authorized the charge of Murree. Meetings have been started to bring taxpayers into the tax net.
The statement further said that under a special strategy, offices will also be established in other districts. The PRA has also been mobilized to increase revenue resources. The establishment of PRA offices in new districts will facilitate taxpayers.
The spokesperson stated that with the establishment of offices in other districts, a significant increase in revenue will also be seen. A PRA office will also be opened in Jhelum soon.
