Islamabad: Pakistan and India have exchanged lists of nuclear installations, with officials from both countries in Islamabad and New Delhi handing over lists to each other.
The agreement on the exchange of lists of nuclear installations between Pakistan and India was signed in 1988.
Pakistan and India have been exchanging lists of nuclear installations every year on January 1 since 1991.
The exchange of these lists was part of the Treaty on the Prohibition of Attacks on Nuclear Installations and Facilities.
The agreement between Pakistan and India was signed on December 31, 1988 and came into force on January 27, 1991.
This exchange of nuclear lists on January 1, 2024, is the 33rd consecutive year.
