Actress Reema accused of fraud worth millions of rupees
Man said that he was forced to invest in actress's film but did not get anything despite many years

Lahore: A man named Shahid Rafique accused Reema Khan, a famous actress of the Pakistani showbiz industry, of fraud.
Recently, Shahid Rafique gave a brief interview to a YouTube channel outside the Lahore Press Club. He claimed that in 2009, he had given Reema Rs21 million for her film 'Love Main Gum' but he did not get any profit in return.
The man said that he was forced to invest in the actress's film but did not get anything despite so many years.
Shahid Rafique stated that he returned to Lahore from Qatar in 2009 to buy some property in Defence Housing Authority (DHA), in this regard he met Reema Khan's sister Maira Khan, who was a real estate dealer.
According to Shahid, he told Maira that he wanted to buy a plot, to which he received a response that he should invest in her sister Reema Khan's film, it would be beneficial. Reema's sister said that she should invest Rs5-6 million for five or six months and assured that he would get profit from it. A meeting was also arranged with Reema Khan, after which he transferred the money for the film, but later Reema's sister started demanding more money.
Shahid Rafique further said that Reema also called him to Malaysia where the main cast was present for the shooting of the film, he also stayed in the same hotel for 20 to 25 days. When the film was completed, instead of returning the money, she kept demanding more money and did not pay him the money.
According to Shahid Rafique, instead of giving money, Reema made an agreement with him, of which he has all the evidence and in addition, he has a bank statement record, but Reema claimed Rs200 million damages from him, saying that he was a fraud. If Reema comes forward, it will be known who cheated whom.
He further said that after this, he also went to the civil court and the judge wrote that not Shahid Rafique but Reema Khan committed a fraud of Rs21 million.
He added that Reema has lost the case in the civil and sessions courts and has taken a stay in the High Court. Reema Khan has been ordered to appear, but she is taking time by applying. I am sure that I will win this case.
